A multi-activity site
This site, dating back to the establishment of the Benvic group by Solvay, holds historical significance in the production of PVC compounds primarily for the construction market. Since 2020, the site has expanded its product offerings to include a range of bio-polymers, our Plantura range, and ranges of ETP & TPE, included in our Xtended product line.
Plantura is bio-based materials for sustainable applications, thus bringing value to the design of eco-responsible products. Our Xtended compounds manufactured in Italy, include technopolymers, polyolefins, as well as thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) for technical applications. Main applications include consumer goods, E/E appliances, automotive.
The facility employs over 110 staff members in sales, technical, manufacturing, quality and logistics. Benvic teams in all these areas are designed to provide the best possible service to our customers. The Ferrara site is certified for its quality, environmental and energy management systems in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 – as per Benvic standards.
